This cute Santa Card is easy and fun to put together using a Silhouette Cameo! Make it in to a money holder by attaching the pocket to the inside of the card.
-1 Sheet of White 8.5" by 11" card stock 65lb for the sign, Santa, the pocket and the sack. Also Glitter or white card stock for the snowflakes and sign boarder. I used craft paper card stock for the base of the card.
-Clear drying glue stick or double-sided tape.
-Baker's twine or thin ribbon.
Step 1: Start by cutting out your separate elements. Santa, the sign, the sack and pocket should be printed out onto white card stock with registration marks. And cut using the 'print and cut' feature on your Silhouette. All other elements can all be cut from your choice of card stock. Once cut, crease down the middle of the card.
Step 2: Thread baker's twine or thin ribbon through the holes on the sack. If you're using twine you can wrap it around a few times and tie a bow.
Step 3: Apply glue to the back of the sack and attach it to the card, matching up the slits on both the card and the sack. Apply glue to the back of Santa and layer him slightly over the sack. Apply glue to the sign and attach it to boarder. Once dry, glue the back of the sign boarder to the card.
Step 4: Apply glue to the tabs of the sides of the pocket. Fold in the tabs and attach the pocket to the inside of the card so that it slightly covers the slit on the front.
Add a gift card or some cash and your done! Your little Santa card is ready gift!
